Quite some time has passed since my last Milton & Small cold brew review.
To date, the dark roast cold brew coffee from Milton & Small is still probably in my top 5 favorite RTD cold brews.
Today I'm taking it down a roast level with my review of Milton & Small's medium roast cold brew coffee.
About Milton & Small
Milton & Small is a small company out of Emeryville, CA that makes ready-to-drink cold brew coffee drinks.
What I like about these guys is that they keep their cold brew drinks nice and simple. It's coffee. It's water. And in one case, it's chicory too.
But to me, keeping the product bare bones is what makes it special.
This is also the only company I know of that is making different cold brew for different coffee roasts.
Milton & Small's Medium Roast cold brew coffee is damn-near-perfect as far as I'm concerned, but let's break down each of the 4 rating categories I currently use when reviewing cold brew coffee.

Bright and fruity up-front with a dark chocolate finish. One of the more acidic RTD cold brew coffees I've had.
It's about $5 for the 16 oz bottle, but prices will vary depending on where you pick it up. Here in the Bay Area everything is over-priced these days, especially stuff coming out of Whole Foods, but what can ya do? <3.
Water and organic, medium roast coffee.
Only available in Northern California at the moment, but I expect that to change as time goes by (unless it turns out that cold brew coffee was just a fad).
If you don't live in Northern California, sorry if you've read this far only to find out that it's not available online or locally.
However, you should still keep your eye out for Milton & Small cold brew coffee.
Well, in my opinion, they make some of the best cold brew coffee in the business.
Simple ingredients, different roast profiles for all taste preferences. I like.
